It’s extremely exciting to share that Binary House has been shortlisted as a national finalist in the 2018 Australian Timber Design Awards ‘Interior Fitout - Residential’ category, while also being in the running for a People’s Choice Award.

It’s very pleasing to share that Binary House has been published in Houses, Australia’s leading residential architecture magazine for designers and their clients, within the August/September 2018 Issue 123 of the magazine.

Planning approval was recently received for Manifold House in Dover Heights. It was designed in mid-2017, further developed and then submitted late last year - followed by a long assessment period inclusive of a referral to the WLPP.
It entails minor alterations and a highly considered addition which crafts multiple new connections to its setting, while inventively enhancing the amenity of the existing dwelling.

Images of the recently completed Binary House have been selected and can now be seen in the ‘Projects’ section of the website. My clients (and Ian the dog) are enjoying their new home, and we all think it looks great following an epic 4.5 year end-to-end process.

Designed in mid-2016, this new house located along the edge of the Cooks River is forecast to start on site soon. It has worked its way through design development, planning approvals and construction documentation stages, as well as a now-complete demolition stage of the former conditions on site.

Binary House was completed on site last week and has now been professionally photographed by Brett Boardman. These are preview images from our photoshoot. Stay tuned for more images to come.

Binary House reached a stage of completion to enable my clients to begin settling into their home. Some incomplete exterior and interior detail work still to be done on site has now commenced, inclusive of rear and front landscaping, while a list of defects rectifications is also underway.

Visualisations of Starling House have been uploaded in ‘Projects’. The proposal for a young family entails a new two-storey house on an inner-suburban site in Lilyfield. Its formal composition to the street and rear is a uniquely crafted and direct response to setback and building height plane controls to inventively accommodate the client’s brief over both levels.
